As a cat
I roam the garden
And hide myself with my tail.
Every plant that moves
Is exciting
And the leaves I step on
Crunch under paw.
My whiskers sense movement
And twitch.
A butterfly lands on a flower
And is in my mouth
Until my mistress forces it out.
Well, there goes lunch.
As I lay under water
With current sweeping over my body
The water’s surface skims my hardened nipples
Tickling them.
